The restrictive Schengen 90/180-day travel rule will come into force for UK citizens on January 1, 2021 unless the Government takes action. More than 500,000 people will be affected.

Use the link to read these stories which demonstrate the consequences of the Government's ignorance of, and indifference to the impact of the 90/180 rule.

Use the link to see the detail of real-life events that resulted in a delay when returning to the UK, or which required an extra visit to be made to the EU.

From 2021 these type of events could result in the Schengen 90/180-day limit being exceeded which would have serious consequences.
