Throughout years 2-4, children have learnt about different musical styles including, traditional British songs, jazz, pentatonic melodies, samba and carnival, classical orchestrations, ballads and, earlier in year 5, blues.
In Year 6, children will continue to use their voices, tuned and untuned instruments to compose music in the units entitled 'Film Music' and 'Theme and Variations'.
