To know that:
Dance music is usually produced using electronic percussion sounds, and recordings of the music are played by DJs in clubs or at festivals.
A loop is a repeated rhythm or melody, and is another word for ostinato.
Remix is music that has been changed, usually so it is suitable for dancing to.

In Year 4, children adapted and transposed motifs. Similarly, in this unit, they will learn to loop and remix given sections of music.
In Year 6, children will continue to adapt, change and recreate music in the unit entitled 'Theme and Variations'.
