Nestled in between Sri Hartamas and Petaling Jaya North is a hilly area that still maintains a rustic charm and verdant greenery despite rapid development coming up around it. Kampung Sungai Penchala is made up of 4 clusters village. In the early days, Kampung Sungai Penchala was a transit point from Sumatera, Indonesia which contributed to the establishment of the villages base on community such as Minang, Bowean, Javanese and others.
Looking at the location of Kampung Sungai Penchala which is located in between Sri Hartamas and Petaling District of Selangor, a development scheme has been proposed. The scheme title Future House Anticipating Homestay is an approach where it integrate the concept of homestay into living. This approach involved sharing living space between local and the visitors thus allowing the visitor to experience the social culture of the place. Kampung Sungai Penchala is a village with strong culture. It's culture of living had contributed to the development of the village economy. Supported with its location and geography, Kampung Sungai Penchala has plenty of homestay living opportunity to offer.
