Design Pre-thesis 3 | Sustainable Technologies
Malaysia received rainfall amounting 2500 mm all year. However the rainwater is not fully utilized and majority are channeled to public drainage thus causing flash flood due to poor drainage system and uncontrolled development all over the place. In addition Malaysia also experience water shortage due to unpredictable dry season. To accommodate this matter a study have been conducted on how rainwater harvesting can act as a cooling agent and medium of rehabilitation. The approach also is being integrated into the building programme.
