This project aims to identify the potential of adaptive integration between modern and traditional malay architecture in the rejuvenation of Kampung Baru as a catalyst towards preserving the proud heritage. The main objective of this project is to determine the role of a malay-architectured building as a cultural centre in reinforcing the potential of adaptive integration in order to preserve the area’s unique identity.
