With many lessons, we will explore the history behind the media.

This class will combine the painting portions of the former Drawing and Painting II and III classes. We will begin by learning how to paint with watercolors through a variety of techniques. The second half of the semester will shift to oil paint. We will learn how to properly use them, and we will also learn how to build and stretch our own canvas. During this time, we will also explore different art styles.

Higher level artwork will be expected in this class. The class may be repeated for credit.
