Ranjit John, MD

Professor

Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery

Research Vision:

Clinical outcomes in adult cardiac surgery focusing on mechanical circulatory support and ventricular assist devices. Importantly, mentoring residents who are interested in a career in cardiac surgery is a major component of my research.

Research Areas:

  • Ventricular assist devices

  • Heart transplantation

  • ECMO
