Louise Evans, PhD

Assistant Professor

Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology

Research Vision:

The goal of my research is to identify the mechanisms involved in the initiation and progression of salt-sensitive hypertension. Current studies are focused on the events involved in the initiation of renal inflammation.

Research Areas:

  • Blood pressure control

  • Salt-sensitivity

  • Renal function
