Student Involvement

Student Groups

How do I search for student groups & cultural centers?

Explore GopherLink, the campus student organization directory.

This U of M site allows you to search for organizations, save/create a list of organizations that interest you, RSVP for events, and more. There are over 1,400 student organizations on campus, so you can filter groups by category or search more broadly.

Try it out by logging into GopherLink and adding the PSEO Student Association to stay aware of upcoming events, in addition to searching for other groups that might interest you!

We also suggest that you check out the Commuter Connection student group, designed for commuter students like you! They even have a lounge area in Coffman Memorial Union in room 204 with computers, printing, microwaves, and lockers.

Check out Find your Community for even more information on how to feel connected to campus and find support.

Restricted Student Groups

You are allowed to join most student groups, but there are some that you cannot.

Leadership Roles

PSEO students are allowed to join most student organizations, but they cannot serve as officers or hold leadership roles. Current, degree-seeking students pay the Student Services Fee which allows them to take on leadership positions. PSEO students do not pay this fee.
