Optimizing Employee Engagement- Innovation Proposals
In efforts to optimize employee engagement across the OME continuum, it was announced in the June all-staff meeting that staff will have the opportunity to submit proposals to address opportunities of growth* in three areas:
There is good cooperation and sharing of ideas between my department and other departments
Conditions in my job allow me to be as productive as I can be.
Given your choice, how long would you plan to continue working for the University of Minnesota
Details of the proposal specifications and deadlines can be found here. Each participant in accepted proposals will receive a $150 stipend for professional development.

Hello out there!
Greetings from your "garden level" neighbors! Since we don't get to catch up as often as we'd like to, we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the awesome things that are happening here in CPD. For example, did you know that we work on nearly 150 educational activities each year? Even better, they're pretty popular; 42,776 people attended our activities in 2017, and we're on pace for another great year. It's not all lectures either; this fall we're working on two activities, The Minnesota Scapula Course and Cadaveric MSK Ultrasound Injection, where participants will get a fully interactive experience, learning and practicing using specimens, and we are increasing our number of activities offering MOC Part II every year. Finally, as a Jointly Accredited provider, we offer educational opportunities for the entire healthcare team. If you want to learn more about what we do, or just say hello, please stop by; we'd love to see you downstairs!
