All University of Minnesota students enrolled online or in person (including all undergraduate, graduate, professional, and Post Secondary Enrollment Option) must complete this Student COVID-19 Immunization Vaccination Form by Oct. 8, 2021. The form asks students to either submit their vaccination information or submit documentation of a religious or medical exemption.
If students do not provide the Vaccination Form, they will be out of compliance with the University’s vaccination requirement and prohibited from registering for classes in the future.

Relying on recent guidance from the CDC and with the advice of our University public health experts, President Gabel shared a message about the new face coverings protocol.
As a follow up to President Gabel's message from earlier this summer regarding campus safety, Senior Vice President Myron Frans sent this update on July 20 to students, staff and faculty. The message includes progress to date, upcoming steps and a reminder of other valuable resources designed to improve safety on and near campus.

Starting on the first day of classes and then throughout the school year you will receive a regular weekly newsletter called BSB Weekly, which highlights a wide array of program updates and activities available to Carlson School undergraduate students. It will be in your UMN inbox every Monday, except on holidays and during school breaks.

Carlson School Orientation leaders give a whistle-stop tour of the facilities that make up the Carlson School and the most important on-campus offices and locations important to undergraduate students in Hanson Hall and the Carlson Building.
After confirming your enrollment, you will receive a series of communications from Orientation & Transition Experiences to complete orientation:
Complete your checklist & sign up for a remote New Student Orientation Date>>
Complete the "Orientation Prep Course" online Canvas course. (You will need to sign into your U of M account and you may need to set up your Canvas profile if this is your first time signing in.):
Prepare for your online Orientation (see at right for review transfer coursework, placement assessments, and advising appointment preparation)
Attend your remote New Student Orientation Date (Orientation dates occur during June, July, and August—link will be sent for your Orientation Hub prior to your date and schedule information populates approximately 48 hours before your Orientation)
You will meet your academic advisor at your orientation and they will help you with registration.
Transfer students: Please note that even if your orientation is late in the summer, we hold spots in courses so you will be able to register for the classes you need.
Review any transfer coursework or credits you entered on the Tell Us About Yourself form and update your answers with any changes. This may include AP/IB coursework. You can review and update your answers on the New Student Checklist.

Prior to the start of the fall semester, we ask that you complete these next steps:
▢ Review your APAS report
▢ Check to ensure your AP/IB/A-Level scores are on your APAS report, if you took the exams (available mid-July)
▢ Review your Fall 2021 registration in MyU
▢ Re-review the Orientation Prep Course (found on your Canvas)
▢ Complete the orientation evaluation
