Grad Celebration

The Grad Celebration is a festive event celebrating the Class of 2026! Think of it as a casual graduation party with all your friends and family at a beautiful venue overlooking the Mississippi River. There will be delicious small bites, photo ops, and a cash bar will be available. 

All Minnesota Carlson undergrad students who are eligible to participate in the 2026 graduation ceremony are invited to attend the Grad Celebration (graduates in Fall '25, Spring '26, Summer '26, and Fall '26).  

Please note: The Grad Celebration is the day BEFORE graduation and is a SEPARATE event from the graduation ceremony at 3M Arena at Mariucci on Monday, May 18th. RSVP'ing for the Grad Celebration does not register you to attend the graduation ceremony. 

Grad Celebration details: 

• Sunday, May 17, 2026, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

• The View at Minneapolis Event Centers, 212 2nd Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 near St. Anthony Main.

• Advanced registration is required for all students and guests. Due to venue capacity limits, we cannot guarantee that admission will be available at the door for those not registered.

• Ticket Pricing:

  • Graduates & 1 guest are FREE

  • 2+ guests: $10 per guest

• Parking is available in the St. Anthony Parking Ramp across from the venue. Event attendees are responsible for paying for their own parking. Guests with accessibility needs can be dropped off in the parking circle in front of the venue. 

• The suggested attire: School Spirit! Wear your Minnesota Carlson or University of Minnesota gear.

How to RSVP

Students should RSVP for themselves and their guests together. We strongly encourage students to coordinate with their loved ones prior to RSVP'ing to confirm who will be attending to provide the most accurate information at the time of registration. 

Use your internet ID (x500) to log in and RSVP for you and your guests to attend the Grad Celebration. All attendees must be registered to attend this event.
