But how do you get involved? Student Organizations are a great way to get involved. Becoming a member of a student group can provide community, while becoming a student group leader can offer an enriching leadership opportunity. There are also many ways to be involved academically. All of these opportunities help to enrich and enliven your experience at Minnesota Carlson.
Engagement Coaching is an initiative dedicated to helping you find a place to belong at Minnesota Carlson! There are hundreds of ways to get involved at Carlson, the University of Minnesota, and in the Twin Cities. Just looking at a list can be overwhelming, so we have support to help you through the process!
First-Year Students - Ask your Carlson Crew Leader about how to get involved at Carlson and beyond! Every new student has a required 1-on-1 meeting with their Crew TA or Crew Mentor, and this is a great time to learn from their experiences and figure out how to prototype engagement opportunities for yourself on campus.
Second-Year Students and Above - Make an appointment with Caroline Q. Fails to discuss your involvement goals and make a plan to explore engagement opportunities inside and outside of Carlson!
