Declare Your Major
The Carlson School's undergraduate program is an intensive course of study with early exposure to business that leads to the Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) degree. You may choose from 11 majors and 14 minors. The program has a strong experiential learning focus, including internship and mentorship experiences, interaction with the business community, and an international experience.
The Carlson School is the only public business school in the Twin Cities accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB is the premier accrediting agency for business administration and accounting programs.
Carlson School students generally declare their major when they are enrolled in a block of the Impact Core (I-Core).
To declare a Carlson School major or minor, complete the Major/Minor Declaration form below.
Please note that many upper level major courses require that you have a declared major before you can register for them.
You may also choose to declare an additional major or minor outside of the Carlson School to compliment your business major. View a list of majors and minors available to you at the University in the University Catalogs. To declare one of these majors or minors, contact the department offering the major or minor.
