Diversity & Inclusion Programming

The Carlson School believes that students should be able to study in a space that allows them to be their authentic selves. College is also a time of great exploration of personal identity. The Undergraduate Program works to develop programs that create an inclusive space for our students while also providing opportunities to explore new ideas and learn from those who come from different backgrounds

Join in on programs, such as Power Lunches, LGBTQIA Community Luncheons, and Community of Color Luncheons or find several affinity groups within Carlson School student organizations.

Engagement Fairs

Expand your horizons and build connections with the Carlson community. Come find ways to get involved with our Carlson-Affiliated student organizations at the Carlson School Engagement Fair on Monday, September 8th from 11:30am-1:00pm. Hosted in the Carlson Private Dining Room by the cafeteria, enjoy free lunch, meet student organization leaders, and win fun prizes!

Leadership Lab

The Leadership Lab empowers Carlson undergraduates to unleash the organizational leader within by developing the potential in themselves and others. This co-curricular program blends academic coursework with experiences designed to challenge students, expose them to new ideas, and reinforce approaches that drive change.

Case Competitions

Put what you learn in the classroom to work by participating in one of our various case competitions. Take advantage of local opportunities or take a shot at our national/international case team.

1 in 3

1 in 3, an event hosted by Business Board and Delta Sigma Pi, is centered around starting & continuing conversations about mental wellness. Founded in 2015, this event garnered an attendance of nearly 300 Carlson students, faculty, staff, and other interested parties. The event featured mental health professionals as well as students who shared their own experiences with mental health; a segment that undoubtedly had one of the most powerful impacts. We aim to expand on the success of this event year to year and keep the conversation frequent, relevant, and strong.

Business Week

Business Week is a one-week celebration focusing on the Carlson School and its connections to the business community. This student-coordinated event connects students, faculty, and business professionals in a collaborative effort to realize current successes, celebrate past accomplishments, and anticipate future endeavors.
