NOTE: Students may need a parent or other helper to guide them through these activities and help them discuss the reflection questions.

In this Social Studies unit, students will explore First Nations and Europeans in New France and Early Canada. Students will fill in an organizer outlining significant interactions and their short and long-term effects between First Nations and European explorers/settlers in New France.
In this health unit, students will learn how to choose healthy foods.
They will learn about nutrients, the food guide, and how to pack healthy lunches. Students will choose food items and use the nutrition facts tables and ingredient lists to justify which healthy items to include in their lunch.
In this science area students will explore human body systems. The focus for these activities is web based learning. Students will write an explanation about the interactions between 2 body systems.
In the following activities, students will have the opportunity to explore math tasks, games and problems across the five math strands from the curriculum. Students will use the seven math processes: reasoning and proving, selecting tools and computational strategies, connecting, representing, communicating and reflecting.
