In the following unit students will learn about healthy food choices and explore the connection between living well and healthy eating goals. They will be encouraged to apply their learning to making personal decisions about personal health and well being in relation to eating well.
Learn 360- Watch the video My Plate: A Kid’s Guide to Healthy Eating about making healthy food choices. After watching the video, plan a healthy meal with someone at home, if possible help prepare and serve the meal.
Use the Government of Canada’s interactive tool to build a meal plan based on your age and nutritional needs.
