Some of my goals are to become a trauma nurse, to work at one of the top hospitals known for trauma, and to hopefully get a Ph.D. as well. I did an internship at Christiana care my senior year and that modeled me into the person I am today. It helped with my responsibility, matureness, and helped me get certified in CPR AND EMS. It helped me find my drive and passion for my line of work.
Over quarantine, I wanted to try to do and learn something new, so I started a lipgloss business. I was inspired to start a business on TikTok and I learned how to make lip gloss through TikTok and Youtube. I struggled at the beginning but my family and friends helped and inspired me to keep pushing. My business was successful throughout the summer and I also learned how to make bracelets, anklets, and necklaces. I took a break from the business to focus on school but I can't wait till the semester is over so I can start back up.
I currently work at Hibachi, I am a hostess. I go into the fridge and take out all the sauces and prepare the salads for the day. I get the book ready and open everything up. After that, I take phone calls and seat customers. I pack up take out orders and take them out, so my day is really busy once I get to work.
My favorite teacher, is professor Teague because he is someone who cares about his students, is understanding about our other classes and able to help each of his students. He makes it easy to reach out to him no matter the case if we need some help or advice.
The accomplishment I'm most proud of in my life is buying myself a car at only 18 years old. I worked hard and long shifts to get that car. I have been riding in my mom's old car since I was 16 and I felt like it was time to get my own car. So I went to multiple dealerships and checked multiple car sites and I finally found my 2011 Nissan Sentra.
