Many people will not guess that I have a very, very goofy personality and that I love to dance. Yet I am also a bit shy unless we are friends. My main goal in life is to honestly be happy and successful. I just want to graduate college, get a great-paying job, and be happy.
Another goal of mine is to make my family proud of me. I spend a lot of time with my family. My family is very big on making sure that we are always looking after one another and spending time together when possible. We look at it as though our family is all we have.
Outside of school, I like to hang out with my friends and watch movies. Sometimes, I also have to babysit my baby cousins when they come and visit from out of state.
I’ve only been in AAP for one year and it has taught me a lot about time management. I spend a lot of time doing other things besides school work so I had to learn quickly to use my time correctly. Instead of waiting until the last minute to get work done I usually get it done the day it is assigned or two days after when I have that class again.
It would have to be getting my diploma and going to college that is what I am most proud about in life. I am the oldest in my family and graduating high school helped set a pathway for my sibling in following my footsteps. I got into the major that I wanted and I am on the road to graduating a year early so I am proud of myself personally and so is my family.
