I am a nursing major and I plan on working in pediatrics. I really enjoy kids and feel that working with them will bring me a lot of happiness. One goal that I have for myself is to one day work at A.I Dupont hospital. I spend most of my time working as a CNA at Elkton Nursing and Rehabilitation. I recently just started working there and as a CNA and love it so far. Working with the elderly and aiding them with anything they may need has been truly heartwarming for me. Getting this job has been a really huge accomplishment for me because I’m finally getting comfortable in the field I will be in for the rest of my life.
In my free time school, family, friends and my relationship take up most of my time but besides maintaining that, I race my ATV across the United States in the GNCC racing series. I have raced ATV’s since I was just 6 years old. It’s something that has always been a huge part of my life and I truly enjoy it so much. The adrenaline rush I get from this sport could never be found anywhere else.
An accomplishment that I am most proud of would definitely be when I first placed top 3 at a race at just 8 years old. Before that moment, I felt like all of my hard work was pointless because there was just always someone faster than me. But placing top 3 in the nation definitely made me feel beyond proud of what I was doing and for sure has made me proud of where I am today.
