If you are wondering what type of person I am, once you get to know me you'll think that I am a cool funny person, but if we don’t talk you'll never know because I am quiet.
Going to college was an accomplishment that I am most proud of in my life. Not a lot of people in my family go to college, so going was a huge step for me. And graduating college will be another great accomplishment for me. I want to succeed and make my family proud.
I have two favorite teachers from AAP, Dr. Livingston, and Dr. Higgins. Dr. Livingston’s classes provided me with new knowledge every day I went and the classes were fun to be in. The things that he taught gave me a new perspective on life and it will stick with me forever. I liked Professor Higgins because he was just a cool teacher and I like the way he teaches and I like how he constructs his classes.
Covid has affected my college experience drastically but it did create other opportunities for me. During quarantine I learned that I actually enjoy DJ-ing and producing music for my friends, I am still learning but without Covid, I probably wouldn’t have found the time to find new hobbies like this.
Also, once things opened back up I was able to work more and not be that 'broke college student'. I work at Dick’s Sporting Goods, I either unload our trucks or work the register. I work in the mornings so I get there around either 6 A.M. and leave at 2 P.M. or when I get there at 8:45 A.M I leave at 4 P.M. I work these shifts more than a couple of times a week.
A favorite memory of mine was my high school senior night for basketball. Family and friends were there, we received our awards and felt accomplished, excited, and grateful to the team. That whole day was just great and I will remember it for the rest of my life.
