One thing you probably wouldn’t guess about me is that I am Puerto Rican. My mom and dad were both born in Puerto Rico but decided to move to Delaware where I was born in 2002. I’ve traveled to Puerto Rico many times over the years. Traveling is something I really enjoy doing. One of my main goals in life is to travel as much as I can, I really want to see Tokyo one day. I also strive to get a good job making good money, in the computer science field. I’ve always loved playing on computers and to be able to make money doing what I love is another one of my main goals.
One of my all time favorite nights is when I was younger and I went to my dad’s on a Friday, with my friend and we got the new Call of Duty game and played it until morning. Playing Xbox is something I really enjoy doing and is how I spend most of my time. Besides school and Xbox, I also love to play basketball. I’ve played basketball as a hobby most of my life but playing on a team is not something I've ever been interested in. Although I do enjoy watching teams play. The Phoenix Suns are my all time favorite.
When Covid-19 hit us in March of 2020 it was definitely a culture shock. We were suddenly taken out of school and transferred virtually and have been ever since. I haven’t gotten the chance to experience any sense of normality in senior year nor in college yet. It was definitely weird at first but I've gotten accustomed to it.
So far being in the program, the teacher that I came across that has been my favorite was definitely Dr. Peasnall. He works with you to make you do the best you can and actually teaches the content very well to the point where there's little room for stress. My biggest accomplishment thus far was definitely graduating high school. It was an extremely relieving and proud feeling and I’m looking forward to feeling the same way when I’m done here at UD.
