I am most passionate about Art History. I plan to study it for my major. I love art. I draw quite a bit and I find the history and development of it from varying periods of time really fascinating.
Most people may not think of it at first or even realize when they first meet me, but I’ve been through many harsh experiences in my life. A key turning point for me was after I had a very difficult time in 2018. It was when I came out of therapy and recovery that I had a realization about the preciousness and beauty of life. I learned to appreciate the little things in life and see the good side of most things. It really made me value everything.
I’ve learned to be more communicative with my teachers and advisors while in the AAP. It seems small, but just communicating about assignments and other things has made things feel more comfortable and easier. Having one of Mr. McDevit’s classes was really nice because of how nice and easy he was to talk to as a person.
I’ve gone through so many experiences in my life and I’m really proud of myself for going through it all. Going through those struggles and becoming content with where I am in life is a really big accomplishment for me, especially since I’ve worked so hard on myself.
