Email Distribution Lists

The Department uses Google Groups for our email distribution lists.

Faculty belong to two groups:

astro-faculty-group@ucsc.edu

All faculty - including emeritae. This Google group merges both the voting faculty and emeriti faculty groups

astro-voting-faculty-group@ucsc.edu

Does not include emeritae.  Only active faculty members with voting rights.

All Grads mailing list

astro-postdocs-group@ucsc.edu

All Postdocs mailing list

astro-academics-group@ucsc.edu

Used for Department Announcements.  Includes the following subgroups - faculty, grad student, postdocs.  Also includes those who have a legitimate need and/or association. (Example: colleagues in UCO, Physics).  Check with Department Chair prior to adding a non-Department member to this list.

astro-colloquium-group@ucsc.edu

For those who wish to receive weekly event notices and colloquium info that should not be a part of astro- academics.
