Indefinite Steps

Indefinite Steps (Professor Step 5 to “A”)

Mandatory five-year reviews regardless of what step they are at. Will be on “Call” during their 5th year.

Not on Call:

•   Steps 5 to 8 = three years of service, can request to go up for review (during their third year) (review will happen in their third year so ask at end of year two)

•   Step 9 or “A” = four years of service, can request to go up for review (during their fourth year) (review will happen in their fourth year so ask at end of year three)

Laura Lopez will alert you each May which faculty are on indefinite steps that are eligible so you do not have to track.
