METHOD OF EVALUATION
Students will be evaluated based on a research paper (75%) and class participation (25%). The class participation component includes an individual presentation.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will cover a selection of health-law related topics, including patient safety, medical malpractice claims, consent and informed consent, confidentiality of medical records, wrongful life and wrongful pregnancy claims, mental health law, health inequities, and end-of-life decision making.
