METHOD OF EVALUATION
Students will be evaluated by a 2 hour, open-book examination worth 100% of the final grade; however, each student will also have the option of reducing the value of their final examination by writing up to five quizzes during the term. Each quiz will be worth 5% of the final grade. So, for example, if a student writes all five quizzes, that student’s final exam will be worth 75%; if a student writes only three quizzes, that student’s final exam will be worth 85%.
(Note: Open book means that students can utilize class notes and other downloaded materials but students will NOT be allowed to access the internet during the exam).
