Hello All,

Well we made it through our first full week and we did OKAY! I know that there are probably a lot of feelings both sad and perhaps glad that school will not be in convening in the regular way for the remainder of the year, but rest assured we will be continuing with our learning! Like last week you will have Newsela and CNN 10 obligations to take care of however, with the CNN 10 articles for Monday and Wednesday I will not look for them to be passed in until Friday. That's right all, all work assigned will be DUE ON FRIDAY!!!

1 Assigned Newsela over the week, where you answer the multiple choice questions. 75% or better!

Watch and respond to 2 Cnn 10's. One on MONDAY and one on WEDNESDAY. I'll ask you to turn in your CNN journal on FRIDAY but YOU MUST have the DATE of the CNN 10 you're responding to!

Keeping up with your work is going to be REALLY IMPORTANT!! By turning in work I will be able to keep track of who is connecting with school and who is not. I will be reaching out to anyone not completing the work! I care about you and want to make sure you're doing well!

Week Of March 23rd, 2020

Hello Everyone! So here we go! I will be updating this agenda every Monday with the assignments for the week. To start I'm most concerned with connecting with all of you so that I know everyone is establishing a routine and staying connected to school and me! In an effort do this I am going to ask you to do the following:

• 2 Assigned Newselas over the week, where you answer to a written prompt. (Not the multiple choice) Your Newselas will be due EVERY FRIDAY by 2:30!
• Watch and respond to 2 Cnn 10's. One on MONDAY and one on WEDNESDAY. I'll ask you to turn in your CNN journal each time, so I know that you've watched and responded to the videos. These will be due by the end of the day that you watch the video (so one on Monday and one on Wednesday)
