March 30-April 1: Video Update
Welcome to week two! I hope you are all doing well. I have no words for how much I miss seeing you at school in person. On the plus side, my commute time has dramatically decreased! I have been making comments on your paper airplane investigations and you guys are doing really well! This week we will actually fly our planes! Hold tight though, I need to see you write your procedure and give comments before we start flying.
If you are able to take pictures/videos and add them to your doc that would be awesome, I would love to see your work! If not, no worries, just a thought. If you are interested, make sure you see the extra enrichment website from March 27 below. This is a cool site where you can learn and practice like the Wright Brothers.

If you have not gotten a comment from me then it is not in the right spot! If you want credit for your work I have to be able to see it in your folder.

Hello my wonderful 8th graders! So, here we go. We are going to start a little mini project on designing an investigation around paper airplanes. I hope you all have some sort of paper you can use to make an airplane out of (an old math test perhaps? haha sorry Hollis!). This is meant to be fun but also scientifically accurate. As you will see from the document, there will be work to do in phases. I will let you know what you should be working on and when, I have to communicate with you around modifications so please don't get ahead of me with where you are at in the process! There are due dates for a reason! If you want more science check out the extensions at the bottom of the document.
