Last week we started to explore our family history. In much the same way that we inherit a history when we become a member of our family, we inherit a history when we become a citizen.

As we continue to explore our personal identities and think about labels, we consider the way we see ourselves and the way others see us. We will consider inner identity in particular and the values that help to build our inner identity. Personal values are sometimes shaped by our families so we will also explore family heritage.
