Weekly Reading Log Homework:
ELA homework is due every Friday. An extra copy of the homework can be found here: Homework Reading Log

Students should be reading every night and have their reading log signed by a parent/guardian each night. Daily reading helps students build reading stamina and prepares them for the FAST Reading assessment at the end of the year. Students will complete one paragraph using the RACE writing method at the bottom of their homework every week. RACE helps students write complete, text-based answers required by Florida standards. Unit 3 Social Studies Vocab Quiz- Thursday, October 22nd

Students can study for their European Explorers in Florida History vocabulary quiz using the flashcards we created in class, located in their binders, or using this link: Unit 3 Vocabulary 

Word Application Quiz #5- Thursday, October 29th

 Students will use this week’s words to show their understanding of spelling, meanings, Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Here is a link for this week's list: Word App List #5 

Viewing Word App / Social Studies Quiz Scores

Parents and students can view quiz scores by logging into Google Classroom and opening our ELA & Social Studies class.

Students can view their Word Application and Social Studies quiz scores, see which questions they missed, and review their mistakes to help them improve on future quizzes.
