                               We are off a to wonderful start! I am enjoying getting to know your precious kiddos! Please be on the lookout for a letter regarding the Buffalo Basket Auction. It is coming home on Monday. 

                                This Wednesday is picture day. The children must be in uniform. This is the picture that will be placed in the yearbook. Speaking of the yearbook, don't forget to order yours now. Also, this week, on Thursday, your child will be completing the FAST PM 1 in ELA. We have talked about it, but I will circle back around on Monday.

                                In math, our classroom lessons for this week will continue to focus on place value, writing numbers three ways, and comparing and rounding numbers. The goal is to finish reviewing these skills and be ready to test next Tuesday. The fact practice for the week will focus on a review of subtracting across zeros. Just like last week, it will be attached to their spiral review homework (Q1.2).

                                In science, we will continue exploring the tools scienitists use and the scientific method that they follow. Your child will need to know the steps in the process, as well as, understand why they complete an experiment multiple times.
