Caputo's Charismatic Choir

Dear Parents and families,

                                 Important September Dates: Mark your calendars.

                                     9/1: Buffalo HERD Meeting (Live at The Tracy in Middleton)

                                     9/7: Labor Day-No School 

                         9/11: Founder's Day- Middleton High School Football Field (5:30-8)

                         9/30: Class Picture Day (Uniform required)

                                 Hopefully, those of you who were planning on attending or working Founder's Day got the notification about it being caneled before you made the drive. For me, I had just pulled in when I was told. Not sure about it being rescheduled. As soon as I know anything, I will pass it along.

                                 I am in need of your help. I know I mentioned at open house that toys are not permitted at school. We are having an issue with the students bringing in those squishy toys. Please make sure your child is leaving them at home.

                                In math, we will continue with our fraction unit. The kiddos will be learing how to create equivalent fractions and comparing fractions this week. Homework (Q1.6) will be sent home on Monday. Multiplying by  5 and 10 will be the focus of the fact practice this week.

                                In science, we will continue with our chapter 2 in science. Exploring the phases of the moon, what causes day/night and the seasons, and constellations will comprise  the chapter. The children will be completing the vocabulary quiz on Tuesday.
