Short-term completion

Based on the regulations for the shortening of the term of study for students achieving outstanding results in the master’s or doctoral program, students who have demonstrated outstanding performance can complete the program in a shorter period than the standard term of study. Since application requirements vary by courses, please refer to the internal regulations of each graduate school.

The students who wish to complete the program in a shorter period need to apply as below. The Graduate School Committee will decide whether or not the student can complete the program in a short period of time.

How to apply

After confirming that you meet your graduate school’s or course’s graduation requirements, submit the required documents to the Education Affairs Section for Graduate Schools within the following timeframe. If you have any questions, please consult with the University office or your main academic supervisor in advance.

※ Doctoral program students are not required to submit unofficial transcripts and course registration confirmation sheets.


Notification of Results

Approval of short-term completion is determined by the Graduate School Committee after submission and review of the thesis.

The results will be announced on the Toyo University Official APP on the day of the announcement of the students who have passed their course of study.
