The main purpose is to provide "remedial education" to complement the basic knowledge for students with diverse educational backgrounds upon admission, including those from different undergraduate fields, graduates from other domestic and foreign universities or graduate schools, and working professionals.
The maximum number of credits that may be taken is limited to 8 credits per year. While grades and credits are awarded for completed, these credits do not count toward graduate degree completion requirements.

Application Method: After obtaining permission from both your graduate school supervisor and your undergraduate course instructor, register through the application form (accessible with your toyo.jp account).

※Please note that if class capacity is exceeded due to undergraduate student registrations, you may not be able to take the course.
Students who wish to take undergraduate courses (including courses for various certifications) that are courses not covered by the above-mentioned “System for Graduate Students to Take Undergraduate Courses”, or in graduate school that is not covered by the above-mentioned system, may enroll as undergraduate non-degree students after passing a designated selection process. For details, please refer to the application guideline for non-degree students.
Non-matriculated students・・・Students who wish to take specific courses to enhance their education and deepen their theoretical knowledge. Students who wish to acquire qualifications such as a teaching license.
It is necessary to complete the application procedures for undergraduate Credited Auditors (scheduled for early March). If you do not complete this procedure, you will not be able to take courses offered by the undergraduate school. A registration fee is required in addition to the graduate school tuition.
If you wish to become a student with various qualifications in order to obtain a teaching license, there are restrictions on eligibility for application, including the requirement that you are a graduate (or expected to be a graduate) of an undergraduate program. Credits earned as an undergraduate non-degree student will not be counted toward graduate school completion requirements.
