Research advising system
There should be a total of 2 academic supervisors: 1 academic supervisor and 1 co-supervisor. However, 2 co-supervisors may be chosen at the discretion of the academic supervisor. In principle, students should determine co-supervisors among instructors in charge of research advising in their course, according to the instructions of their academic supervisor.
In some cases, researchers who are playing an active role in off-campus research institutions may be in charge of research advising as visiting professors, in addition to full-time instructors in our university, in order to promote the sophistication, revitalization, and globalization of education and research in our graduate schools.
Academic supervisors cannot be changed unless there is a compelling reason. Students in the Public-Private Partnership Course in the Graduate School of Economics will be instructed separately.
