You will need to prepare properly for these exams, use them as a rehearsal for the real GCSE exams next year. They are important because they will help us determine the predicted grades used on you college applications.
Make sure you know what the command words in the questions mean.
The quizlet links at the top of the revision pages (linked above) will help you learn the keywords.
You should also:
study the knowledge organisers that will be stuck in your book,
use revision resources you have made for the end of unit tests,
read through the gap filling activities you have done after each test,
use the seneca learning website to cover any material you are still not sure about (make sure you sign up for the correct course - ask your teacher if you are not sure).
test yourself using the the past papers at the bottom of the paper 1 revision pages and the exam questions found on the individual chapter pages.
Some additional guidance on how to revise effectively can be found in the presentation below and here. If you have any questions please ask your class teacher.
