Fine Motor

What are Fine Motor Skills?

Fine motor skills are based on the ability to control movements using the small muscles in our fingers, hands, wrists, and forearms. Mastery of fine motor skills requires precise control and coordination of these small muscles.

Fine motor skills include reaching, using two hands together, grasping different sized objects, and manipulating small objects are required for developing independence in day to day tasks such as eating, dressing, printing, and play.
