Collaboration is increasingly recognized as a keystone element of successful entrepreneurship, which should be taught to aspiring entrepreneurs in entrepreneurship education. Teaching collaboration requires an approach beyond conveying elements of knowledge to one based on enabling learning of a complex competency. The session will explore how mastering collaborative competency should follow a new way of teaching and learning using an ABC framework for affective, behavioral, and cognitive elements.
Dr. Doug Gilbert is an experienced international entrepreneur, academic, and business professional. He serves as the CEO of Lone Tree Academics LLC, and a recent startup of EduPartner. Solutions, a Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) venture assisting institutions with student success. He also serves as doctoral faculty for Walden University (USA) and a visiting professor at Vilnius University (Lithuania).
