In this video presentation, we explore how in the classroom the teacher moves from lecturer to teacher as facilitator to enhance the problem solving process among students, encourage cooperative learning, implement different tasks, realizing that games are the new worksheets. Meanwhile in the teachers’ lounge teamwork and coordination among subjects and for specific students’ needs to play a key role.
Dr. Anneke Schreuder is a Dutch pediatrician and neonatologist, with a particular interest in the field of developmental epidemiology. In 2010, she started Dyscalculia Services to train parents, teachers and tutors in Dyscalculia and to provide assessments, in-person, and online tutoring for children and adults, and to assist parents in supporting their children’s learning.
