Greetings! My name is Kathy and I have been a resident of Tucson, AZ since I was 8 years old. I have two children and am married to my husband Danny.  We love to travel to the beach, go to concerts, enjoy spending time with our family and friends and going hiking.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2001. I was a teacher for 21 years. A major part of my career was at the middle school level working in 6th grade. This is my third year as an elementary school counselor in the Sunnyside Unified School District. 

I love my new position as a school counselor! I have built many new relationships with many students, families, the community and the staff. I look forward to continue my growth in my profession.
