Summerhill Primary School

Our Vision

When looking to the future , our vision is to ensure that Summerhill continues to be recognised as having a caring, inclusive and nurturing environment in which our pupils succeed. We have the drive and determination to be the best we can possibly be and all staff members have outstanding aspirations on behalf of all pupils in our care. For us, pupil outcomes both academically and as well-rounded citizens are equally important. We strive for this by promoting a positive growth mindset, our values and developing a love for life-long learning. Our curriculum is designed to broaden our pupil's horizons, widen their cultural capital and empower them to be curious about the world around them.

We aim to provide our pupils with the experiences they need to develop into confident individuals and responsible citizens. We empower leaners to achieve their dreams by providing the knowledge to unlock the potential of all our pupils. We are passionate about equipping our pupils with the skills they need to be successful learners in readiness for their transition to secondary school and in order for them to to meet the ever-changing demands of 21st century life in modern Britain.
