Zentangle Space

This drawing is supposed to represent different shades of a color using the thickness of the line or also using how far apart the lines are to make the picture darker or lighter.I made this drawing using six different types of graphite, 6h, 4h, 2h, 2b, 4b, and 6b. I chose this specific design because when I think of shading using lines I usually think about wavy lines so that's what I drew.

I mainly used just lines in my artwork so my most important method was making sure that all lines were parallel as well as being the same width, and shade. At first I was going to Use straight lines to make the drawing simpler and give it a neater look but realized that the wavy lines gave the drawing a more unique look and made it look more fluid.

The meaning behind these drawings is to represent different shades of a drawing using lines and different shades of lines. I think that the project could relate to my life because the different shades in the drawings could represent different emotions that I or any other person could experience. I think that I could have incorporated more designs into my drawing using the wavy lines as a background to the designs.
