Doodle for Google

I made this project using simply graphite, I didn’t have a lot of room to work with and decided to keep the project and materials needed simple and minimal. This project was to design a google caption/header for their website that expresses some sort of meaning towards inclusiveness. I chose to make mine about how everyone should get a chance to play sports. My artwork is the google logo, the O’s are in the shape of a basketball and soccer ball and sports fields are in the background.

I decided just to simply use four rectangular sports fields to make the drawing easier and combine them by cutting them into quarters, I chose to use a Basketball field, a Soccer field, a Football field, and a Hockey rink. I wish that I had spent some more time on the details and dimensions of the fields to make them look more realistic.

I think this really relates to me because I am an avid athlete and sports mean so much to me and I would like to see my friends and everyone else get a fair chance in sports and I have seen some ties when my friends don’t get the chance that they deserve and it is happening to much worse extents in other places and I want to be able to see a fair place for everyone.
