Doodle for Google 2/14/19

For my drawing I doodled around the google logo. I chose to draw about aliens living with us in the future. It has the moon on the top left, an alien face on the two o's using as it's eyes. Next to it on the "L" I drew a rocket ship flying up and next to it I drew a UFO that is hovering over and picking up the "e". To draw the picture I first traced out the drawing I wanted then later added colored pencil. After I traced over it with a sharpie. I chose to draw this because for the "Doodle for Google" challenge it asked what we hoped for in the future so I said I hope to live with aliens. I got the idea from my classmate because he was drawing about space and it gave me the idea. Then I thought about the idea of making a connection of aliens and humans so I added the UFO and rocket ship. At first my project started off as only an alien and a UFO. Later on I added the rocket ship on the "L" to add humans into the drawing. But after my drawing still looked a little empty, so I added the moon on the top left with a little rocket ship on it. Then after finishing the picture I didn't trace over it till later. If I had to change something about my project it would be to color in the white spaces and fill in spots better.

Organ Donation Poster 2/17/19

This drawing is to motivate people to sign up for organ donation to help save a persons life. For the drawing I used a 2B pencil to draw it and traced it with a sharpie.I chose to make it look like a vacation with the beach and plane passing over head saying "organ and tissue donation." I first started to draw the horizon and the sand. Then I drew the palm trees, then the tail of the airplane. Then I wrote "leave lasting foot prints" like foot prints would be left on a beach. Then as I drew I only used pencil then after shading I traced over it. My last step was to finish the boarder, I traced over the tape lines that were 1 inch. At first my palm trees didn't have good looking leaves because the sharpie was too thick. My drawing changed because at first my sand barrier to the ocean was a straight line, but it is never a straight line. Another thing I changed was the sun going down. At first I had just half of the sun but when tracing it I messed up. So after I added other lines to make it look better. If I could make by drawing better I wish I would've added color and made it look appealing.
