Candy Still Life

Candy Still Life 12/1/18

For this drawing, I drew a candy still life. I chose a variation of candies. For this art work I used a graphite pencil to draw the shape at the beginning. After I used colored pencils to shade and draw in different colors. I wanted to use multiple colors to make the drawing seem more interesting. At the end I used a green water color to fill in the negative space. This drawing was based on perspective and shading. You can see I made the objects look read by adding more dimensions. The shading was under and on top of the objects to make them seen like there was a light source hitting against it. At the beginning of my project my shading of objects and as I proceeded I revised on it. My artwork could be stronger in many ways. My shading wasn't the best on some objects. The green background wasn't painted in one direction making it look messy.
