This is a drawing of a creature with the head of a mouse, the body of a lizard, and the legs of a caterpillar. This is my favorite drawing that I have done so far in Foundations of Art. I was given two cards with crazy descriptions on them. I drew this by using the descriptions on the card that I picked from the two. I drew my creation on a twig to point out the fact of how small he is. This is a fun way to draw awesome things and, at the same time, be able to practice your artwork.
To draw this creature I used a HB graphite pencil and a sheet of paper that happened to be computer paper. I used shading to make my Catterlizmouse's scales and ridges stand out more. The twig that he resides on was placed there because even though the twig fills up more space in the picture it does not detract from the drawing, in fact, it adds to it.
Next time I would add some more scenery in the background and make it less open. I drew my Catterlizmouse because it was the first thing that came to my head when I read about a creature with the head of a mouse, the body of a lizard, and the legs of a caterpillar. This was a fun thing to draw and I found it very interactive. I love this kind of drawing game and would love to do this again.
