This picture is an interesting piece that corresponds with pictures drawn by other students. These drawings will be placed together to create a large picture that is only finished when all of the pieces are put together. This was created when I duplicated an exact same picture but at a much smaller scale.

I drew this using a graphite pencil and smoothed out the overall picture by using a makeup sponge or cosmetic wedge that I got from my mom. I used to use a tissue or my finger to smooth out all of my drawings but found out that this other method was more satisfying because it did not crumble in my hand or stain it with graphite. I used a ruler to get my picture in proportion with the small cutout. I later fixed up this drawing by using a Sharpie to make my background darker.

This was fun to draw and I hope that I will be doing more of this later on. Also, I can't wait to see the whole picture once all the pieces are put together. I hope that my newest version (with the Sharpie) is dark enough. This was a fun experience for me and would love to do a project like this again.
