Zoomed Shoe
Zoomed and cropped shoe

Graphite on drawing paper
Abstract Shoe

Acrylic on canvas
The main idea that guided my first piece of artwork was taking the 3 views of my converse shoe and then picking one of the views to zoom in on. For me I choose the 3rd view all the way to the right.
The materials that I used were acrylic paints, graphite, print making paper, canvas, thin sharpie and a view finder.
For this project I started with the first prompt of drawing three views of a shoe and zooming in on the shoe with a viewfinder every time. Then I choose one of the views and choose to create an abstract art piece out of it. Then I started making my art on print making paper and decided that it was not what I wanted to do. So I changed my paper to canvas which was better for all the paint that I was going to use. I did some research to find what kind of silhouette animals I wanted to add into this piece. I printed those out and used the light box to sketch the animals out on my paper and choose what colors I wanted to started painting.
