Water Color and Ink on Bristol board

Some of the main ideas that guided my artwork is were the prompts that we were given but that was very broad. Most of what guided my artwork was that I let my mind kind of let go and not try to make perfect lines or perfect shapes, I just let myself shade, make designs and free flow. The materials I used to create these pieces of art are graphite, water colors, sharpie ink and a light box to trace some of the designs. This all started off with prompts as I said before. Then I let my imagination take over. I did have to do a little research for my animal zentangle because I needed to find the perfect silhouette. For the negative space leaves I re-did the whole thing from what I started off with.
